Lost my Big nine 900 Merida in Bellandur tallest stain on 24/6/26

Hi all, I lost my cycle (Merida big nine 900) in Bellandur railway station parking last Wednesday (24-06-2026).

Let me know if I could do anything here that can remotely improve the changes of getting back my bike. I love that bike and have been keeping it for 6 years now.

Hi Amruth,

Sorry to hear about the bike theft.

I am guessing you have done some/all of these steps, but putting it down.

1 Register a theft complaint with the relevant police station- low probability of them investigating, but sometimes they are tracking something else and you could get a lucky break

2 Watch out on classifieds sites if the bike turns up for sale- OLX etc

Hi Mayank, yes there’s no CCTV unfortunately. Bellandur railway station parking is just getting built. I guess I should have waited for it t to officially open

If you have the serial number, photos and other information, would
recommend posting it on online cycling forums - especially Indian
forums. bumsonthesaddle . If anyone comes across it on sale, they
might inform you. Did you check with the locals ? also, not all locks
are secure - especially chain lock

check for CCTVs from nearby shops on that day. It might give some clue. you will have to do it fast because the recording may remain at most for a month
