Hi All,

wanted to know from you guys if it is possible to make it to the peak
from Kukke on a geared cycle(trek/firefox) or would it be a very
strenous trip ?

Thanks
Lohit

I have gone trekking there, dont think its very simple to cycle up to Kumaraparvath. Its a pretty steep climb.

Hi Lohit,

I've trekked KP, there are some areas where you'll have to climb a few
rocks. I don't think it can be done by bike. And it's pretty steep in
some places.

Ajith

hi
cycling from sakleshpura to subramanya via bisle ghat is also very
good.. The last time i heard about it, The road conditions were pretty
bad..its like offroading.. ;)
this is about 80kms..

I had a plan of
cycling from Sakleshpura to Subramanya through Bisle ghat : about 80Kms
Trekking from Subramanya to Kumaraparvatha
Cycling Subramanya to Sakleshpur OR come back by bus.

regards
vinay

Hi,

I am thinking in the same lines to take a cycle and pedal where it is possible or to carry it, but it will be one awesome experience and one of the must do in my list of things.  I am open to trek/bike Kumara Parvata from Ghatti Subramanya and back and then may be do biking to Dharmastala and back.  I had trekked once to Kumara Parvata and once until Bhathru mane, and I have forgotten the trail.

If you know someone who can trek with us, maybe we can bike.

Regards

Ram

Hi,

FYI the trekking path to Kumara Parvatha from all sides has been blocked in recent times after several missing and death cases. The forest guards do not allow anyone to get into kumara parvatha these days. However you still can try your luck.

Thanks
Ram
