Students 12 - Pintu, Nandini, Shallu,Aleeya,Revathi,Deekshita,Mokshitha,Thipakka,Umera,Divya,Abhignya,Brunda

Seventh hands on session with the cycles at Lakkasandra. We started the advanced/intermediate students- Pintu, Nandini, Aleeya, Revathi,Shallu,Umera,Mokshitha, Deekshitha in the small dead end lane next to the school and practiced there. After a while, the advanced students Pintu, Nandini, Aleeya then moved on to practicing one hand riding in the main road and safe turning. The intermediate students Revathi, Umera,Mokhshitha and Shallu also joined them learning to ride on the extreme left in mixed traffic. After some practice, all of them moved to pedaling all the way down the slope right upto the edge of Bannerghatta road and pedaling back uphill, a couple of them getting all the way to the top, and some others walking the last bit. Revathi and Mokshitha had some challenges with managing speed and slowing down for turns, they need more practice on braking correctly. Umera tends to drift to the center of the road, and also stop abruptly, needs some work on that. The others Abhignya, Thipakka,Brunda,Divya and Deekshitha practiced scooting, and half pedaling inside the school campus, most of them are able to pedal, though Brunda and Abhignya are not able to pedal straight for a longer duration, and tend to veer left or right. Thippakka is still struggling. We ended with Mokshitha handing out candy to the students and the teachers. The students remained enthusiastic and energetic in their efforts.
