Teaching adults how to cycle BBS Cubbon Park session 19 October 2025

Bangalore Bicycling School, Cubbon Park Session, Sunday 19 Oct 2025

Another cloudy and humid day. The park was quiet due to diwali weekend, exccept for the World Sight Day Walkathon. Bandstand had a dance performance.

Trainers : Parag, Vinay, Ali, Shriya, Junaid

Newbies :

Anwesha: First to turn up while we were fetching the cycles. She started off with static balancing with Shriya, moved on to scooting and learned how to half pedal.

Nikitha: knows how to ride a cycle. She quickly learned to balance and has started pedaling, but she still feels scared while riding.

Sneha- Shweta's sister who is also a CA and is visiting her from Calcutta, learn the safety checks of the bike and how to mount and dismount after that she sat down as she was feeling exhausted. She preferred to continue next week.

Tamoghno- The ML enginer was an enthusiastic student, and worked hard through the session to get the balance right while scooting.

Ongoing Learners:

Anuha- Continued her progress and improved her control with pedalling and turning . Learnt safe stopping.

Ashwini : Rides a motorbike, so balances well second session to get used to Bicycling.

Richa- After a long period of scooting, trying to get her to pedal, and scoot,alternately. She still has a bit of left lean, once that is corrected, should be able to progress to pedaling.

Salma- Super enthusiastic as usual, rode a few rounds and parked herself on the side and kept busy by encouraging others !

Shweta - The CA continued with scooting , and did a bit of half pedaling in her second class.

Shwetha Bhaskar- Turned up early and practiced circles , especially anti-clockwise

Surekha : She is part Hubbali part Bengalurean learner..coming sporadically and continued to scoot.
