I am faced with mysterious problem. The tyre is getting deflated. I checked carefully for punctures in the tube and also checked the valve. Could not find any. Also got it checked at the LBS. Even they could not find any.

Does the tube need to be replaced? How long should a tube last? I have done about 1000-1500 kms on the bike.

I am too facing with the same problem. My rear tyre gets deflated after 2 days or so. It could not be a puncture because I use it for a 30km commute every other day and a puncture wouldn't have lasted a 30km commute. I have hardly done 800 km on it. I got a pinch flat once but got it fixed from the bots. So a bad puncture fix goes out of the equation.

its a very small puncture i guess, change the tube, nothing to worry.. and put tireliners..

There'll be a small pinhole sized puncture. I got one on the way back from Nandi hills the the tyre was completely flat only after two days.
Dunk the inflated tube in a bucket of water and look for bubbles. :D

And make sure the tube is inflated to a high pressure when you dunk that thing in water.

And yes, tyre liners are a good idea. They do not have miraculous properties though and you might still get a flat even if you have liners.

Thanks. I had tried by dunking it in the water only, guess tube was not inflated to a high pressure. Anyways today evening i took it to RR. I think the puncture must have got bigger, they found it quite easily.
