Why dont you look at Btwin hybrids from Decathlon.

They would fit your budget and feel that it would be better than
Hercules.

Available at RR, Decathathlon Cash and Carry store and BOTS (? Rohan
pls confirm whether you have it in stock - do not see this on the
website).

Last I know was that this is a hot selling bike and hardly in stocks
(Sriram ?) Website shows out of stock.

Hi,

I suggest not to fix with Budget... Better be flexible and stretch
some more .. and buy a better one don’t go for general brand ... I did
same last month and bought ACT-105 ... But When i drive other bike ...
i felt the difference ... so suggest if ur serious of cycling ..
Invest more and enjoy... its big difference in riding high end
bikes....

Surely you will get all suggestion you want from much experienced
persons here.....

All the best.

If your budget is fixed you could always by a Rockrider 5.1 and fit silcks (thinner tyres) onto it and you will have a better bike than 110... :)

There is a thread in the group started by Mayank for cycles less than 10k. Check that out. I also bought the cycle mainly for commute. I got a Thunder MTB. Fully loaded, it weighs 15kgs. It costs 6.5k at RR cycles. You might get it for lesser at other places but check out the shifters and tyres at all places. RR has the newer tyres and better shifters. The older fire-groove tyres keep bobbing while riding and the older shifters aren't that good.

As with everything else, you get what you pay for and the more you pay, the better the cycle will be.

Hi .. I have been using ACT 110 for about a month and am happy with
the same! I just started commuting to work - so far no complaints. But
the cycle seems to be out of stock - you might have to wait a month of
so to get one.

i wud vote for Trek 4300 anyday though but then again its 2.5 times
the cost o RR 5.1 ...

u can even try RR 52. ... 15 K.. one of he guys (Prabhakar) here has
it... u can ride tht too n decide..

Guess hte best part here is tht u can take a ride on diff diff bikes n
be fully satisfied with which one to go for depending on ur budget...
