I'll start working at RMZ Infinity Old Madras Road next month on, and I'm wondering about the cycle facilities there. Things like cycle parking, shower rooms etc. Can someone here comment?

I work in here. You have a cycle parking stand here. but not sure of the Shower facility.

Just be sure you park it safe, I had my bike spoiled due to the drainage pipe leakage which was just above the bike stand.

Thanks,
Mahesh

I work in RMZ and there is a cycle parking and shower room given by my company. RMZ as such doesn't provide shower rooms.

I too work there. However there is no way you can securely lock the
frame of the bike to a pole/ bike parking stand.
Also I find my gears changed when I come back from work.
Also the security doesn't allow entry from exit gate even if you push your bike.

Just curious... How many of us are here from RMZ?

Yes, pushing the bike from exit gate is not allowed for past an year or so. I did escalated to my management, but could not get any help. Although it is good to pedal a few more KMs, the traffic and the U-Turn is really a mess.

Also, I heard the stand provided in zero floor is not from RMZ. Anyway, can we all get together and see if we can make this place more bike friendly?

Thanks,
Mahesh

Yes. I too tried escalating from our facilities incharge, not much of use.
We should all push for this, may be a protest and directly contact the
RMZ management.
The estate manager Sudevan is useless, he's totally indifferent. RMZ
talks so much about green initiatives then they should consider
encouraging cyclists

Hi, I'm about to start work at RMZ Ininifty in a few days. Would you mind sharing which company you work for? I'm considering cycling to work but was wondering if I would have access to shower facilities, I'm going to be working for EY.

Hi I worked in RMZ inifiniti for 3 years, I was regularly commuting by bicycle.
Beware of theft...especially the taxi drivers who laze around, steal your lights, saddle bags etc....
Lock your bike to any hard structure like drain pipe, pillar or steel meshes.

Really, you guys leave lights and saddle bags on the bike? Our security at RMZ ecospace have told us clearly to lock the bikes to the bike stands and not to leave anything like lights which can be quickly flicked with the bike.

regards,
Ashok
