[Yogesh Ranade]

Hello BBC,

 

This is Yogesh Ranade (35) here and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the forum. I am originally from Pune but am based out of Bangalore now for the past many years. I think Bangalore is an amazing and wonderful city and I have grown to like it immensely.

 

Over the past many years I have been your regular average Joe who motorbikes and as he progresses migrates to a car. Until sometime in late december last year, I came across BikesZone forum and things changed. I changed. I have taken to cycling regularly since then. I came to know about BBC through BikesZone. Would like to specially thank all of you; it is your passion, camaraderie, escapades that have sowed in me the love of cycling. Being a father myself now, I plan to to inculcate this amazing spirit of bicyling to my recently turned 5 year old son Arjun.

 

The reason for not introducing myself earlier, was the self doubt of maintaining this rhythm. But now I realize that I am addicted to cycling. I maintain a blog named Cadence at http://yranade.blogspot.com where I jot-down my thoughts and rides.
