Ride to Chikka Tirupathi

Hello Bikers, Need info on traffic volume, road condition of the
route from Sarjapur Road, Dommasandra junction to Chikka Tirupathi via
SH35, NH207. Am planning a ride on 19th. Cheers, Sameer.

If you head out early, traffic on Sarjapur Road is not too bad. After Sarjapur, the traffic dies off the and the road is lovely.
Are you taking a road bike? If not, this route will avoid the traffic. http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/HSR-layout-to-Chikka-Tirupathi-and-back
A few places are bumpy but overall I find it a much better route to return from Chikka Tirupathi on my hybrid.

Couple of weeks back I had been to Chikka tirupathi via varthur - hoskote - malur - bagalur - CT - dommansandra and HSR layout. The road from Sarjapur joining Chikka tirupati to Bagalur the begining through the sarjapur market and probably another half a km is very bad and post that its about 11km you can just glide on that road, very minimal traffic.

I just did Yelahanka-Chikka Tirupati and back last Saturday!
Traffic is pretty low once you cross Dommasandra junction, and if you take the main road I think the condition of road is pretty good.
I took one of the inner routes from Gunjur to Chikka Tirupati which had few stretches of bad road! (from Point B to Point C in the map)

Done that route quite often - usually returning after an off-road ride
outward with the Decathlon folks...
Dommasandra to Sarjapura - some amount of trucks and other traffic,
good road surface.
Sarjapura - some crowded bits and some horrendous stretches of road -
probably 1km or so of punishment to get through town.
NH207 - Lovely highway - most stretches of this road are broad and
excellent - it is so roundabout that not many trucks use it, so it is
excellent to bike on. And some parts of it are quite picturesque as
well.
