HI all,
I am commuting daily from varthur to ecospace(around 10 kms), I am planning to change my company to mayata tech park, so the distance now would be 20kms, is it possible to travel by cycle daily. Can some one share the experience of the route from kundalhalli gate to manyata tech park.

Thanks
Pranav

The route after K R Puram flyover has almost good roads with fair amount of traffic. It is good until just the signal before Manyata since construction of flyover is going on.

If you can stick to doing 20+20kms every day, nothing like it. As long as you feel fit, do it. Do make sure you get good sleep/rest too everyday.

Have not done much riding towards Hebbal recently, but from the odd night ride in Dec, IIRC, the service roads are reasonably good for considerable stretches. During regular hours, try to stick to those. At odd hours, sticking to the ring road might be a bit safer.

The Old Madras road stretch will be bit manic, traffic wise.

Hope you use good head/tail lights in case you ride in low light or night time.

Look at the extra 20km you get everyday as bonus exercise. You won't be asking such questions once you bike regularly.

Hi
I commute 28kms every day. I am loving it. But late evening drives are sometimes pathetic because of auto guys. That route to manyata has lot of red colured rakshasas (vajra busses run by bmtc) beware of them. Please see to that you have reflective clothing when ev
