Hello all,

After a lot of reading and testing of MTB's i have narrowed down my
options to these two for a sub 15k budget.

But right now the Giant revel 2 stocks have been sold out, and the
next set of shipments would cost around 17k.

On the flip side im getting a GT Aggressor 2.0 2011 model for 12.8k.

The only difference i see between bikes mentioned above are the for
travel. GT being 63mm and Giant being 100mm.

Both have equally good shifters too.GT-altus Giant-SRAM X.3

The trade off here is that should i pay the 4k extra for the fork
travel ??

Considering that il mainly be using the bike for commute to work and
an occasional weekend getaway to mud/off road trails !

Please do give your inputs on this and also i would welcome
suggestions for my needs in that price range.

Thankyou

Deepak

I wouldn't put my money on a 63mm travel suspension. And Giant is a much more reliable name than GT (for me atleast). I'd rather pay that extra 4k and get the giant.

hi,
you can get Giant revel2 in RR cycle, Ulsor within 15k. they have some old stock.
or you can go for revel 3. which is almost similier with revel3 and price is also attractive. I owned a revel3 bought it from pedal and wheel.

hey i checked it out but if i am spending somewhere close to 17k i
would prefer 100mm travel on forks, khs alite 150 or merida matts 10 v
which i feel do better in most components than boulder
