Perhaps a 'My Bike' with RD...  while note 100% sure, but I think that the frame tubes on RR were of slightly larger dia, than the ones used in MyBike.
Anyway, at 7K, looks like a real VFM buy for people picking up cycling, especially in Bangalore city, given the terrain.

While it might be a personal preference eventually, but some parts of Bangalore present rolling terrain, and having "gears" certainly helps. Shock-absorbers, have been routinely discouraged in this and other cycling forums, for budget/entry-level bicycles, because the entry-level absorbers add unnecessary weight, are not very effective, have missing features that can be used to disable them if necessary, and don't last as long, if used roughly.

Given that, IMHO -- Kemmel's are a very good entry-level bike, with all that you need to fall in love with cycling.

Hello guys,

I am not a cycling expert and not have much info related.

But interested to buy a entry level cycle for a daily commute of 10kms overall around whitefield main road, can you guys pls suggest..I saw the below 2 models..

1. Kemmel Bike - 7999
2. My bike decathlon - 5999

Let me know Geared / Shockproof does all these are worth buying or will endup doing more maintenance, do we have the service?

Karthick
