01. Researches on complexity of Indonesian cultural heritage.
The Indonesian Archipelago Cultural Initiatives (IACI) has supported
the enhancement of research on cultural heritage of Indonesia in the
institute via the participatory data collection in http://www.budaya-indonesia.org.
Now, IACI, supported by the Surya Institute, a leading institute for
science education in the country, launch the "Gerakan Sejuta Data
Budaya", a social movement for millions of cultural heritage data
collected participatorily via web and social media. The Indonesian
national press covered the press release has also highlight some
research works within the institute. While you may browse the research
reports within the institute's website, for indonesian readers, the
summary of research on the complexity of Indonesian cultural heritage
is available here: http://t.co/DZXDABtY.

The "Gerakan Sejuta Data Budaya" was also supported by the office of
Presidential Staff of Republic Indonesia for Disaster mitigation, Andi
Arief. The title"Gerakan Sejuta Data Budaya" covers one year
activities for the acquisition of research and educational activities
for the preservation of Indonesian cultural heritages. For more

02. Merry christmas and peaceful joy to the world!
The researchers and staffs of the Bandung Fe Institute conveys holiday
greetings for merry christmas to all of our friends, colleagues, and
competitors. May the peace of christmas season brings energy for more
productive and creative collaborative and interdisciplinary works on
science and the sharpening of public policies through complexity
studies.
