TheUSB Mobile Monitor allows you to connect your Android mobile phone or tablet to your PC with a simple USB Cable. All that is required is the download of the USB Mobile Monitor App on your device and the installation of the USB Mobile Monitor software on your PC. USB Mobile Monitor works for Desktops and Servers from Windows XP to Windows 8.1 and Server 2012.

USB Mobile Monitor is currently available only for Android devices.

WebkitPDF uses the Open Source Webkit library to convert HTML documents to PDF format in an automated manner. Webkit is the engine behind many popular browsers and provides wide support for HTML content. You can specifiy the file to be converted using its URL either on your local hard drive, on the Intranet or the Internet.

Requirements: Microsoft Windows, All Versions

The HTML2PDF utility enables you to convert HTML documents to PDF format in an automated manner. It can actually be used to convert any file that can be opened with Internet Explorer 4 or later. You can specifiy the file to be converted using its URL either on your local hard drive, on the Intranet or the Internet.

Usage: Html2PDF [/c] InputURL OutputPDFFile PrinterName. Use the /c switch to concatenate instead of overwriting files. InputURL can be in the format file://filename or

PdfSplit utility

The PdfSplit utility enables you to split one PDF file into multiple PDF files, one for each page or group of pages, from the command line.

It is guaranteed to work only with files created the Amyuni PDF Converter and Amyuni PDF Creator, but should also work with other PDF files.

Usage:PdfSplit SourceFile.pdf [/X xPos /Y yPos] [DestPrefix].

ExtractLinks utility

The ExtractLink utility automatically adds bookmarks and hyperlinks into a PDF document based on the paragraphs and links from the source document. A template for Microsoft Word is included to automatically convert the Table Of Contents, the Internal and External hyperlinks from a Word document into a PDF file. The tool can be also be used for documents created from Access, Visual FoxPro and other sources. Please look at the included documentation for how to use this tool and the capabilities that it offers. It is guaranteed to work only with files created by Amyuni PDF Converter and Amyuni PDF Creator, but should also work with other PDF files.

PdfConcat utility

The PdfConcat utility enables you to concatenate (or append) multiple PDF files into one PDF file from the command line. It is guaranteed to work only with files created the Amyuni PDF Converter and Amyuni PDF Creator, but should also work with other PDF files.

Usage: PdfConcat DesintationFile SourceFile1 SourceFile2 SourceFile3 ...

Any number of 'SourceFileN' can be entered on the command line, they will all be concatenated into 'DestinationFile'.

Requirements: Amyuni PDF Converter, version 1.5 or later.

iPhoneMailer Library for OS 2 and 3

iPhoneMailer is a library that can be used to send emails with attachments from your iPhone application. Emailing can be done directly from within the application without exiting to the Mailer application. iPhoneMailer is compatible with iPhone OS 2.2.1 and 3.0.

The iMortgage application that is available on the App Store uses this library to send PDF reports through email. The documentation for using the iPhoneMailer library is included in the iPhoneMailer.h header file.

Emf Printer Driver

The EMF printer driver is a tool that can be used to convert documents to EMF format. EMF images can be inserted into other documents or viewed natively under Windows. When installing the EMF Printer, the user is prompted for a destination directory. The EMF Printer will create one EMF file per printed page and place that file in the selected destination directory. The latest version includes:

- Printing PDF files from Acrobat Reader to EMF format (PDF-->EMF)

- No "Evaluation" dialog-box appearing for every printout

PDF Converter for Linux

The PDF Converter or Printer Driver allows you to create a PDF document from any application running under Linux operating systems. It can be installed on your system like any standard printer. An automatic installation software is provided for an even easier installation. Instead of printing to your standard printer, you will just select our printer. A file will be generated for you which you can transmit over the Intranet, Internet or view with the Amyuni PDF Creator or the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

After I wrote one of my recent articles on this subject, I received a call from Dany Amiouny, President and CTO of Amyuni. We had a long discussion about PDF Drivers and QuickBooks, and he cleared up some confusion I had on this subject.

The Amyuni PDF drivers have been on the market for about 15 years now, and they are updated regularly with each version of Windows. Both QuickBooks and Quicken use one version or another of their product.

Many times I see people say that the way to fix a QuickBooks PDF problem is to get an alternate PDF driver (such as Adobe Acrobat, or the free CutePDF driver) and just print your forms using that. While this may be a workaround for some situations, it is not a complete fix. Why?

I have reached out to both sage and amyuni (the developer of the driver). Amyuni says that sage uses a developer version and they need to supply the arm version. Amyuni does have an arm version of their driver. I have tried to install it but sage uses their developer version with some enhancements. Sage seems to have no clue. And are requesting me to ask the community.

Sage 100 is supported on Intel based chips. ARM has never been supported. That said, current versions of Sage 100 distribute 6.0x version of the Amyuni PDF Converter. If you downloaded a 6.5x version of the Amyuni driver that includes ARM support it will not work without a separate license key (purchase) from Amyuni.

John I have downloaded the new amyuni driver for arm. And even created a printer called Sage 100 PDF Converter. However when going to paperless office it opens a dialog box to save. And then errors out.

If you own a separate license key, it can be passed to the driver, otherwise the Sage license key is passed. Using an ARM chip is not supported and I have no way to validate a purchased license key on an ARM processor.

So I purchased a seat. Which does get me a valid Amyumi PDF Converter driver for ARM. However install still fails with Sage. If I work around by creating my own printer using the new Amyuni 650 ARM driver and name it Sage 100 PDF Converter it does trick sage into thinking it has the driver. If I Electronic deliver an invoice for instance it opens a dialog box to pick a location to save the file. Which it does generate. But does not complete the process through sage.

Seems like with more windows machines moving to ARM. And all mac virtualization moving to ARM. It would be nice to have a solution for this. So again I will keep up with this and hopefully for future users we come up with something workable.

The Alpha Anywhere Application Server for IIS installer will notify you if an error occurs during installation with details on where to find the installAmyuniPrints.log file. If the installer for Alpha Anywhere Application Server for IIS is run in silent mode, the error will be logged to the Windows Event log. If the Alpha Anywhere Application Server for IIS installer is not running in silent mode, the IIS installer will display a message similar to the one below:

If an unsigned printer driver was installed prior to installing the Amyuni Printer driver, the Amyuni installer will fail with an "Error Code: 87 Invalid Parameter" error. As Amyuni explains on their website:

"During installation the Microsoft certified printer driver, the Windows operating system copies and renames the amyuni.inf file and related printer driver files to the %system32%\DriverStore\FileRepository folder. Under some situations, Windows fails to copy the .inf file because of previous installations, mainly if the previous installation was for an unsigned printer driver. When installing a new version of the printer driver, the error 87 Invalid Parameters appears."

Before attempting to reinstall the Amyuni printer, the DriverStore\FileRepository folder needs to be cleaned up. For more information about this error and how to resolve it, follow the instructions detailed on Amyuni's website, Invalid Parameters installing PDF Converter printer driver.

Once you have resolved the issue causing the Amyuni installer to fail, you need to install the Amyuni printer. This is done by running the A5IISInstallServer.exe file found in the installation directory for the IIS Application Server.

Locate the A5IISInstallServer.exe file. It can be found in the installation directory for Alpha Anywhere Application Server for IIS. Open command prompt with the "Run as Administrator" option and run the installer:

It seemed that Microsoft Windows updates were updating the AMYUNI PDF driver to a version that was causing Sage to report either a Printer Error -30 or prompt for a location to save the paperless office documents.
