The speaker was very interesting. He started out talking about how in
order to have successful tech company you must have a product or
service that is 10 times better than any other product or service in
that category in which you are trying to compete in. Another way to
have success is to have the right people to contribute to innovation
and know how to get good market share. So you need a great inventor
and a great entrepreneur. He then goes on to talk about how he started
Loud Cloud because no one knew how to direct and construct the right
structure for massive amounts of internet traffic to their online
store. Overall, Ben Horowitz had a lot of really cool advice and
wisdom because of his experience. I really liked when he was talking
about how famous people throughout history keep thinking that
innovation is dead and human kind won't need to invent anymore. It
turns out that innovation will never stop.
