Image opens from an attachment in preview mode but I don't see any way to save it, nor to save a local image in another location other than the "copy to" function which I do not like.  I want to browse to the location. Perhaps I am missing something obvious? Thanks.

Hello. This is Bandisoft.

1. You could use drag and drop to extract the image when you see an image.

2. If you are using Honeyview as an image viewer of Bandizip, not Internal viewer, press the Insert key to store the image from the archive.
(Bandizip's internal image viewer does not support the feature. )

Hi, I don't know what you are referring to about Bandizip. Honeyview and that is what I use for image viewing. Regardless if opening an attachment in preview mode or I directly open a file, there is no Save As feature. I find that surprising. It's pretty basic. To save by dragging, I have to close it, select it (maybe out of 100s that do not have user friendly names), browse to the target folder, then save it. Not convenient. Neither is the Copy To with it's limited functionality. That should also have a browse to capability, but thanks for the reply.

Hello, this is Bandisoft.

Since you created this discussion on the group for Bandizip for Windows, we thought that your issue was related to Bandizip and provided you with its solutions accordingly. If you have any other issues with Honeyview in the future, please contact us at the group for Honeyview.

Google Groups for Honeyview: https://groups.google.com/g/honeyview-win

The current version of Honeyview does not support a function for file management, and therefore you cannot copy or move your files with Honeyview alone. When viewing a file with the program, instead, you may press Ctrl+Enter to open the folder in which the file is located, and then manage the file on the File Explorer. We ask for your understanding.

Please try the solution we have described above. And contact us again if you have any other questions or issues.
