1.  Is your product TOTALLY support zipx format UN-ARCHIVING?  And when you will support archiving WavPack algorithm?

2.  By the way I can not find a topic in your help with a list of archive formats this product support (archiving and extraction) and extraction only.

Hello. This is Bandisoft.

1. Zipx uses BZIP/LZMA/PPMD/XZ/MP3/JPEG/WavPack ( https://kb.corel.com/en/125951), and Bandizip can extract all of them.

2. The list of supported file formats can be found here: https://www.bandisoft.com/bandizip/

3. No, Bandizip does not support it.

Best Regards,
Park, KH

Thank you for response.  By the way I didn't know about your product and guys from from Russian forum recommend me it.  By the way the asked a following questions and asked to post them at your forum

They support Universal Extractor - script to extract archives from different format

It doesn't support by original author but some enthusiasts update them.  Taking into account our discussion about zipx I asked why you don't use BandiZip instead of 7-Zip library.    Moreover BandiZip support  ZPaq.  They answered that they are not able to use BandiZip extracting algorithms because there are not console version of this application and there are not documentation/APIs to different extracting methods.  Will you plan to create a console version of your application or compile a dll/exe with documentation re. your extracting algorithms.

Thank you agin for taking your time.

Best Regards,

Uri

Thank you for your sample

# The file has dummy bytes in the jpeg marker, and this causes the error.

I have fixed it, and you can test it here.

# Bandizip has the console application. bz.exe

But you have to remember that Bandizip is not an open-source project.

Thank you very much.  I will let these guys.  If they will have additional questions I will try to translate from Russian to English or they will be able to ask questions in Russian (you wrote that you can use Google translate)

By the way do you have a portable version of Bandizip??

Thanks

Sorry for the stupidity?

Where can I get a console tool?    I am able to get setup version only at the official web site (and portable at third-party web sites)

That's it

I apologize for your misunderstanding.  They don't need a full version of BandiZip but extractor only.

Bz.exe is installed when you install Bandizip

Please note that bz.exe cannot be redistributed separately due to restrictions in our EULA.

Thank you very much.

I will install your beta and test all of my zoo (~12.5 Gb zipx with jpg, and small flv and mp4)

I also posted your answers about console version at Russian forum.  They will make a decision

P.S.  By the way, I am not sure if you have ever heard about a product StuffIt which passed away in 2019.  Their compression ratio were 90% txt (7-Zip & RAR ~78%), jpg 29% (WinZip 15-20%) and mp3 ~15%.  They used proprietor compression algorithms  which has been licensed and  disappeared with this product.   I wonder if any company which develop custom/commercial archiver will ever use these algorithms....

I checked:

1.  If I am able to see all files in directories using XnViewMP   -  OK

2.  I wrote a script @ .NET compare all of folders and subfolders of initial directory with corresponding  folders and subfolders of extracted archives

a.  checked if some files missed - no missed
b.  checked by file size - no discrepancies
c. checked by MD5  - no discrepancies

Therefore test passed -  ~37200 files  95% jpg  + some docx, txt, flv, wmv, swf, and mp4 (all of videos file  < 20 Mb).

Thank you for your test.

I have tested ~200GB of JPG files and found another bug.

So, please use the latest version.
