I have a question about the compression size. I am wondering if there is any way to compress all the files in a 5T hard disk to a size of 1T or less. If so, please tell me how to do it?
Thanks!

Hello, this is Bandisoft.

When creating a new archive with Bandizip, you may set the Archive Format as 7Z and the Compression Level as Maximum to achieve the highest compression ratio expected from archiving programs for general purposes.

New Archive > Archive Format: 7Z
New Archive > More Options > Compression Level: Maximum

Though it depends on the types of files to be compressed, however, it is nearly impossible for any archivers to shrink a file size to 20% or less of the original one. Still, you may try it at least.

Or you may try split-archiving to split 5 terabytes of files as several archives each of whose file sizes is 1 terabyte or less. Please visit the link below to learn more about split-archives.
