Hello, this is Bandisoft.
Basically, when you run Bandizip via the command line with a file specified, it works just the same as double-clicking the file in Finder.
Currently, we don't have a specific option in the command line to force the program to open an archive file.
However, we appreciate your suggestion, and we will consider adding this option in a future update.
