Howdy, bloggers!

It's been a big week this week!  Kyeli (my partner and co-blogger)
entered Chris Guillebeau's Unconventional Writing Contest, and while
she didn't win, she came out 5th-ish out of 150 entrants.  So that's
pretty awesome.  You can read her entry here:

And I had a guest post on Copyblogger (over 70,000 subscribers)!
http://www.copyblogger.com/qualified-and-respectful/
Over 100 comments, 97 clickthroughs to our blog, 3.44 avg pages per
visit, 5:16 avg time on site, 92.78% new visitors, 25.77% bounce rate.
It's pretty awesome -- not to mention the name recognition benefit.
Guest posting on a high-traffic blog is great.  (Although I must
admit, it doesn't add up to the stumble traffic.  Although it's
probably more likely to yield subscribers -- my analytics can't
measure that.)

As for a post I actually wrote on my own blog, today's post is In
Defense of Closed-Mindedness (or, I Won’t Argue With You Because I
Live in a Fantasy World)
http://freakrevolution.com/2009/08/21/in-defense-of-closed-mindedness-or-i-wont-argue-with-you-because-i-live-in-a-fantasy-world/

Hope you like 'em!

With love,
Pace
