Dearest Chaplains, Chaplain Assistants, Youth Leader Trainers, Youth Leaders, and youth members:
In union with the Universal Church, the National Executive Committee invites all members to come together as brothers and sisters in Christ for the celebration of Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ this Sunday. When we think of “coming together”,
the image of Christ and His love for us in the Holy Mass comes to mind. As presented in our Wonders of the Mass video series, the Holy Mass is the bridging of the liturgy of the Word and liturgy of the Eucharist, a perfect unity in Christ. The liturgy of the
Word nourishes our faith and knowledge of God, and the liturgy of the Eucharist unites us in the Real Presence of Christ. Only through this unity can we go forth to serve God through our faith-in-action.
As we begin our second year of the Eucharistic Revival movement, year of the Parish Revival (June 11, 2023 – July 17, 2024), let us come together and be united with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishop to foster Eucharistic devotion within our own
parish and strengthen our liturgical life through faithful celebration of the Mass and Eucharistic Adoration.
In a very special way this year, all VEYM chapters and members are invited to be in solidarity with the Eucharistic Revival initiative with the following devotional and worship activities at the parish level:
1. Participate in your parish’s Eucharistic procession and adoration this weekend.
2. Share the weekly Wonders of the Mass video series (approximately 3 minutes each) to chapter members during activities weekly before mass. Please click on the link below for the playlist
https://url.veym.net/WondersOfTheMass.
3. Host and/or attend monthly Eucharistic Adoration for/with your chapter. Adoration templates along with additional Eucharistic Revival resources (testimonies, saints and Eucharistic miracles) are available at
https://veym.net/eucharistic-revival.
4. Actively participate in VEYM’s monthly virtual Eucharistic adoration hosted by each League of Chapters on the first Thursday of each month. Please follow our FB and IG social media page @veym.usa.tntt for further details.
Inviting all VEYM members in positions of leadership to disseminate the information widely and promote active participation in the worship activities above. Kindly share your Corpus Christi devotional activity with VEYM on Facebook and Instagram @veym.usa.tntt
to motivate and encourage others to join in on the grand celebration of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.
May this year of Parish Eucharistic Revival unite our Movement, and may we glorify God and enter into a deeper relationship with Him through the Eucharist.
Have a most blessed Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.
