Subject: VEYM Lenten Spiritual Bouquet - Eucharistic Revival
Dearest Youth Leaders,
As we prepare for Lent, a time to grow deeper in love with God who is LOVE, let us remove ourselves from the many societal distractions and focus just on LOVE. If we believe in Jesus, in the Real Presence, then we believe it is Jesus in the Most Holy Eucharist who dwells in the tabernacle. Let us with full intent, make a priority to visit the Blessed Sacrament in our churches regularly during this first Lent of our national Eucharistic Revival. If we absolutely cannot do so, let us visit Him in our hearts and receive Him spiritually.
Beginning Ash Wednesday, all Chapters are invited to join the National Executive Committee, Leagues of Chapters and Chapters across the country to partake in the Lenten 40-Day Spiritual Bouquet Campaign. Please see attachment and follow instructions as outlined. It is important that Chapters make time weekly together during the Lent season to pray and live Lent through the small daily acts of prayer, fasting, and alms giving. A calendar of activities to assist the youth and families to journey with the youth this Lent is also attached. For inquiries regarding the implementation of this year’s Lenten Spiritual Bouquet, please contact the National Executive Committee via Tr. In time, the Eucharist will fill our human desire for love, for the Eucharist is a sacrament of LOVE. As we are centered on LOVE and grounded in LOVE through the daily suggested Lenten activities, we will come to know Him and ourselves more.
Let us together make more time for Jesus this Lent.
May Our Lady of the Eucharist pray for us.
