Hey all,

I was messing around with an Alcatel Go Flip (4044) which has Kaios 1.0, and I broke it badly enough it wouldn't boot. I flashed all partitions with the images from the 4044N firmware file from https://sites.google.com/view/bananahackers/devices/alcatel-ot-4044

It successfully boots, but it starts as a "fresh install" each time it boots, and if I modify anything it doesn't remember it after I power it off. Enabling ADB also doesn't seem to work - it doesn't show up as a device on the computer even though the phone claims it's in Debug mode.

Something seems to be read-only that shouldn't be. What might I have done wrong? I flashed all partitions with the EDL tool. Maybe I should have used QFIL on a windows machine?

Update: I just needed to do a factory reset, that fixed it. I did it from the bootloader but you could probably do it from the settings app too.

Second update: Would someone be willing to send me images of all the partitions of a 4044O (at&t)? I guess the "N" firmware isn't ADB enabled. Mine is originally an "O" version.
