Hi folks,

What started as an easter egg in GerdaOS now is an independent development. Let me introduce DALE-8, a CHIP-8 platform emulator completely written from scratch: https://gitlab.com/suborg/dale-8

I decided to release it along with unminified engine source code as a homage and respect to all KaiOS homebrew scene we managed to assemble during past two years.

Accepts .ch8 binaries on either memory card or internal memory (please read the README.md file carefully). You can test it now by installing via WebIDE/gdeploy. The packaged version will come soon and will be the first available in the new format, I hope.

If you have questions where to get CHIP-8 games, they are available in many sources and are mostly public domain now, so it shouldn't be hard to find them.

Fun! Can't wait for the packaged version. CHIP-8 games are awesome.  I like the project name too.
