First user should visit the bananahackers website (https://sites.google.com/view/bananahackers/home) . This website explains the methods to jailbreak, install omnisd and get root access . So please explore the website first .

I want to form another group in which only jio phone users can say their language both in Hindi and English, what is your opinion about this?

Hello guys.
I understand very well that, being one of the most populated countries in the world and with more KaiOS users, it would be more convenient to speak in the same language and compare the 20 different Jio Phone variants in Hindi and not in English.

Creating a group that is parallel to this would be a good idea.

I had already asked other Indian citizens, some time ago, to provide a forum and / or a site parallel to ours, but without ever losing sight of one another (but the stupid and off-topic comments have arrived promptly, without a minimum of attention and collaboration in this sense), you will find the thread here, it was April 7th 2019.

Publish the link for the essential Google group in Hindi you want to create. It will be useful to all KaiOS user communities, in the hope that all administrators will be able to give more space to serious things that can really help people and not advertising banners and false advertisements.

I confess that, until more than a year ago, since I became a member of this forum and did what I have done since then, out of nowhere, I relied on the only sources available on KaiOS until this operating system was nothing: YouTube videos on Jio Phone and Internet sites from India.
I was a common user, I needed help and support, like all of you. Even today I do not feel that I have done anything special except to try to give my time and all possible help to people from other nations and whose devices are completely unknown to me, trying to hold together the pieces of a community where I have seen the most important pieces lose, as happened with Speeduploop, which I still consider one of the biggest ever on this forum and to which we owe much for our success.

The BananaHackers "brand" is now a guarantee, thanks to the contribution of so many serious and responsible people that I have known, coming from all parts of the world and from all ages.
I created a site of guides and an AppStore thanks to their contribution, giving credit to everyone (and if someone felt excluded, let me tell you now, I apologize, you know very well that I always listen to everyone), because all the work done until today, with passion and dedication, it has not been lost among the hundreds of threads and the thousands of comments that crowd this forum since it was born on 3 August 2018.

I ask you to leave important references, they will also be available on the website and on YouTube if necessary. Thanks.

Have my blessing.

Thanks all members for suggestion.
Someone with more time to engage can create google group or telegram group or Discord server as you like.

Recently a user reported that downgrading is possible on jio f220b model so i researched and found that jio is not updating kaios os version in new update . It means jio only patching already exixted kaios 2.5 version . So no problem in downgrading any model of jiophone.
Please note that backup everything from jiophpne before downgrading.
After downgraded you can flash omnisd using any method whose links posted in first post.
To remove update we need root access which is simply achieved .
First flesh omnisd
second install enable stuff using omnisd to enable developer menu
then flash patched recovery and boot.img files to get root access using adb
then  disable update (link already posted in first post).

PS: Jio is very dominating company in jiophone case. So do not trust . Also do not think that they give hotspot access in future update. Also they make useless apps irremovable in every new update. As January update make whatsapp irremovable. This august update make jiohelpline irremovable. So basicaly new update means nothing in jio . please do not update anymore.
Thanks

In jiophone their is option to customize ringtone but no user notification tone option available. If you want to change it then steps are below

please note that this break your update

1. Connect your mobile in debug mode to pc.
2. open terminal at any folder.

adb devices
adb pull
/system/b2g/webapps/ringtones.gaiamobile.org

Now the folder at which your terminal opened must have a folder named ringtones.gaiamobile.org . In this folder there is a application.zip file .
Unzip it on anywhere
In unzipped folder you just have to navigate the folder /shared/resources/media/
in that folder you find a folder name notifications
put your favorite notification sound in that folder . It must be in .opus format
now edit list.json and put your notification track name in format already available in list.json file
now come to same folder where you unzip application.zip and select all item and zip them
rename zip to application.zip
open the terminal where you zip your modified application.zip file
connect phone to pc
adb devices
adb shell
mount
-o remount,rw /system
exit
adb push application
.zip /system/b2g/webapps/ringtones.gaiamobile.org
adb reboot

Now you found your favorite sound in notification sounds.
Thanks

How to reduce default font size/zoom levels?

In kaios browser, this will be achieved by pressing 1. But zoom level will be reset when page is refreshed or other page is opened. Most of the web pages are difficult to handle with current zoom level and this will be very much helpful for easy and effortless navigation. Please help
