Bluetooth connection sharing / tethering on the 8110 - is it possible?

Hi, I recently got a TomTom satnav, and to use all its services it needs to be online via a phone.

However it only offers phone connection via bluetooth, and I can’t seem to get my 8110 to share an internet connection over bluetooth - is it possible?

Also the tomtom and 8110 cannot see eachother on bluetooth at all at the moment, so that’s also an issue!

I own no 8110 but I see  a point in bluetooth tether too.  8110 however
was advertised  as Wifi  hotspot capable  phone in  supported cellular

networks.

Technically KaiOS supports tethering[1], and 8110 Bluetooth 4.1

includes PAN  profile, so  internet connection sharing  over bluetooth

can  and might  be  available to  8110 users  on  two conditions.

If provided network operator  allows it with their cellular  plans AND if

Nokia  has implemented  PAN  profile with  firmware  shipped with  the

device.

I'd like to know too  about 8110 owners' experience with phone

as a modem in hotspot and in tether modes, esp how these modes compare

in battery life department

I've never seen an option in Settings>Connectivity to share Internet with bluetooth.
