Hello there!

I'm working on a Matrix client for KaiOS written using InfernoJS.

This client currently only supports voice call and auto accepts all invites.

The repository is on NotABug(https://notabug.org/bananaphone/marooq) as of now but may change in future. You can check the current status of project in the repository.

Download the latest build and sideload it from here: https://farooqkz.de1.hashbang.sh/storage/download?name=marooq.zip

Also donations, even small amounts such as half a dollar, are very welcome :)

Hi,
Great effort, will try this out when I get a chance.
I have been thinking for a long time that a matrix client for KAI OS would be great and had planned on starting something myself.

The really cool thing is:
instead of having to write / maintain Telegram, Whatsapp, Signal, Slack, IRC, etc clients for KAI OS,
if there is one good matrix client, then all those others can be bridged into matrix.

So you could get messages for any service on your KAI OS phone!

It is using matrix-js-sdk ?

Yeah it is currently using matrix-js-sdk and for now my primary goal is having voice calls.

Can you tell me exactly what you tested logging in with? The hardware and the Matrix server you logged in to?
