Changing Nokia 800 Tough default wallpapers

Hi guys.
I'm trying to change default Nokia 800 Tough wallpapers (find on wallpaper.gaiamobile.org folder) with my own wallpapers. All default wallpapers are jpg images. I do have 2 questions:
1. I will brick the phone if I will change them with gif images (animation wallpapers)?
2. If I'll brick the phone, there are any chances to restore it?
