help with Nokia 6300 4G TA-1324 DS, US version

How do I enter Privileged Mode to sideload Wallace Toolbox?  I can debug my phone easily and sideload OmniSD in Normal Mode using PaleMoon WebIDE and ADB Platform but the Privileged Factory Reset through OmniSD does nothing on the phone.  Do I have to root the phone with partition patches (way out of my element and a bit scary) or just reboot in EDL before sideload or something else entirely?  I'm a WIN10 PC newbie so please be patient.

do I need to root the phone in order to do a Privileged Factory Reset?  There are detailed, step-by-step instructions for that specifically for Nokia 6300 4g.  I have these saved and I went through then in detail.  But the requirement says it must be a "non-US based" Nokia 6300 4G, and mine is US-based TA-1324 DS with the newest firmware update (ran yesterday).  Will the root work for me?

I saw a post by biminhc1 about 5 months ago saying that "US version of Nokia 80004G/6300 4G requires a distinct EDL loader which we don't have. Otherwise, the rooting procedures are mostly the same as the international version."  I don't really know what that means but is this still the case?  We cannot root the US Nokia 6300 4G?

Hi, I have the same US based phone.  I am also waiting for the loader, we may or may not ever get it.   At least sideloading will work, although have not tried it.

Also I think it is possible to delete apps without rooting, but I gave up doing that when I went to KaiOS 3.0 phone, much less bloatware.
