Hi,
Can anyone help me? I purchased a new TCL Flip Model 4056W and would like to remove all internet access permanently from the phone.
Software: KAIOS 3.0
Hardware: qcom
Thank you!

nope, you're not going to be able to do it.  at least not now, and likely not for some period of time.

But... if you're ok with it being temp removed, you could create a dummy APN setting for each of your data sources and intentionally create a bad/broken connection there.  this will keep internet from working but will not keep you from un-doing this at some point in the future...

TAG wasn't able to do it and I tried dummy APN Setting but it still connected to the internet. Any other suggestions?

try copying the current apn setting for data, wifi, and everything else, but put a typo in on the apn server name?

It worked with copying everything except for a typo but its too easy to change back to the original settings and there is no option to delete the original APN settings.

I don't know if this will help you, but I just succeeded in this with an Alcatel 4044.

At first I tried following these steps https://kaptein.me/blog/sideloading-and-deploying-apps-to-kai-os/, but it didn't seem to work - I changed the JSON file and the apps were still there, and not removable.

However, I found this: https://kaptein.me/blog/extract-default-apps-kai-os/ :
I followed the steps and used adb pull to copy the unwanted internet search app to my computer (search.gaiamobile.org
I opened the folder and deleted the contents of the ZIP file
I used adb push to put the empty folder onto the phone - overwriting the app with an empty file
The app is gone!
