KaiOS 3.0 Source Code

Hello everyone,

KaiOSTech's Gecko repository has been updated to 86.0, which is the latest Firefox release:

Also, Mozilla now has a 'kaios' repository with the same code:

https://hg.mozilla.org/projects/kaios

And here are some proprietary Gaia apps (also KaiOS 3 because they use some new syntax which is not supported by Gecko 48 but works for me in Firefox 78):

Looking at their code, it seems that KaiOS 3 is going to have

• a standard UI library at app://shared.gaiamobile.org
• and a big redesign, including
• a Dark theme (app://darktheme.gaiamobile.org)
• and a Light theme (app://lighttheme.gaiamobile.org).

AFAIK,  "test-fixtures/webapps" are not apps of 3.0. 

it seems that some apps of 2.5 but is temporarily used to test new api-daemon which will use on 3.0.

besides, the app of kaios next (3.0)  will use new path of app, for example https://xxxx.local instead of  app://xxx.gaiamobile.org. like: https://system.local, https://shared.local
