Energizer E241S is now available in the UK. Currently priced at £39.99

It is based on the Spreadtrum SC9820 chipset.

Did anyone already get his hands on one of these?

Yea, but i didnt get too far.
couldnt get adb to detect the phone, was trying for a couple hours, browsing forums etc.
ill list what I done to try?

Put phone into debug and made sure USB storeage was on
got Web IDE on pale moon, but never got far enough for it to be able to connect

adb couldnt detect the phone, so i tried reinstalling that, then checked for phone drievrs. then on recommendation from some forums i edited android_winusb.inf to include the install of adb interface with the phones hardware ID's:
USB\VID_1782&PID_4001&REV_????
USB\VID_1782&PID_4001
but the MI is just ?'s as you can see - i tried with both it as that and replacing it with MI_01
but when tryign to install this file as the driver i would get the error 'The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64 based systems.'
I tired a few things recomended to help solve this, like trying in different version sof USB port, uninstalling completely

sorry if lots of this was uncessary / wrong to do, im new to this and just wanted to gove all info to see if there is somehwere basic i messed up

First of all you should build the environment by following the official KaiosTech's guide https://developer.kaiostech.com/getting-started/env-setup/os-env-setup
Thib because the phone must be configured to be detected by ADB.
Anyway you can try different WebIDE versions (with the Palemoon's one on v28.6.1 I work fine). If you want to use Kaiosrt you must start from terminal the command

adb forward tcp:6000 localfilesystem:/data/local/debugger-socket

If this wont work in normal mode after dialed a debug code (normally is *#*#33284#*#* , but for example on Positivo P70S works *#*#0574#*#* ) you should start your phone in other modes (by pressing Power + VolHig/VolLow/bothVolKeys or Power + * or Power + #....there are many temptativer...if the phone wont react anymore can be that you're in fastboot mode or EDL mode and you must remove the battery in that case) and retry using adb (on my Doro 7060 in FFBM mode i can use an adb shell, useless but works).

These are the first tests to do.

Ahh thank you, it was the *#*#0574#*#* that was needed. *#*#33284#*#* did put the bug in the taskbar, but no developer settings, but the former allowed it to work. I have however run into a problem on the next step, connecting via webide. ive tried with a couple different firefox versions, palemoon. different usb cables and ports (although im sure thats not the problem as i can run shell commands through adb fine) but webide just gives operation failed: connecting to Remote Runtime.
I have tried:
adb forward tcp:6000 localfilesystem:/data/local/debugger-
socket
and others suggested elsewhere such as:
adb forward tcp:6000 localfilesystem:/data/data/org.mozilla.firefox/firefox-debugger-socket
adb forward tcp:6000 tcp:6000
but none of these worked

In the image you can see that it should be forwarded correctly

Have you tried using Kaiosrt?
If this wont work you can take a look to this https://sites.google.com/view/bananahackers/development/make-kaios-install by jkelol111

Hey all! Thanks to the feedback of Apox on Discord I've known that the debug works like on Positivo P70S.

  1. The debug code * # * # 3 3 2 8 4 # * # *  works to get the ADB access only, but is not enough!
  2. After it you must dial the * # * # 0 5 7 4 # * # * secret code to get ADB-Debugging full access!

Apox said that was able to install an app made from him, using WebIDE.
I think that will be the same for all the other Energizer phones...but I need feedbacks about them.

Someone can confirm this?

Hi,

No way from my side to install OmniSD.

I can input the two codes and with the second one enable USB debugging, I can connect with ADB, I can get an ADB shell, but I cannot connect to WebIDE : I tried Pale Moon and Firefox from Windows and Linux with no luck. I tried Make Kaios install but it does not connect either...

Any clue on what is missing ? OS 2.5.1.1 webIDE arch X64
