Nokia 2720 V Flip EDL Issues

I just bought the Nokia 2720 V Flip (Verizon version) and want to take a backup of my partitions.

I've tried the MBN files for Nokia 8000/6300 and 2720 from https://edl.bananahackers.net/, but I always get the same message:

Qualcomm Sahara / Firehose Client (c) B.Kerler 2018-2019.

Unexpected error on uploading, maybe signature of loader wasn't accepted ?

Does this error mean that there's something wrong with my setup (I'm using Ubuntu 20.10), or that the PK_HASH doesn't match and I'll have to wait for the proper MBN file?

You can try the 6300/8000 loader

Probably wont work because pkhash , but give it a shot

Yes, I've tried the 6300/8000 loader from https://edl.bananahackers.net/loaders/8k.mbn.

I noticed that strangely, the HWID matches those models and not the regular 2720.

Unfortunately, the same error appears when using that loader.

Does that mean we're out of luck?

This looks like a Verizon loader?

Maybe this loader:

The mbn file for the 2720 does not seem to work on linux (I'm using Mint 20.2) but it works ok on windows!

I've been playing around the last few days and managed to get the nokia 2720 flip to connect to WebIDE by 

-using the EDL on windows to pull out the boot image,

-patch it using https://gitlab.com/suborg/8k-boot-patcher   on linux

-and flashed the patched boot.img onto the device using windows.
