How did you enter the fastboot mode at all?

I was trying to port an android fork from a similar device , while modifying the boot.img there was dt.img in that rom but not in nokia 8110 ,I kept it as it is and voila ,the phone rebooted to fastboot.

It's recovery ,that would let you boot in fastboot
