Dear IFMSA Family,
With great excitement, we are happy to officially open the Second Call for Participants and Trainers for the 22nd Pre-Eastern Mediterranean Regional Meeting (PreEMR22).
This email includes all essential information regarding the event, application process, fees, and deadlines for both participants and trainers. We kindly encourage you to read it carefully, as everything you need is outlined below.
About PreEMR22
PreEMR is a long-standing capacity-building event that has brought together IFMSA members year after year to learn, grow, and strengthen their skills through IFMSA-certified workshops. Over time, it has become a shared space for generations of members from across the world to connect and develop together.
PreEMR22, taking place in Amman, Jordan, aims to further empower members by offering learning opportunities across a diverse range of topics through five workshops.
Second Call for Participants
We warmly invite IFMSA members to apply as participants to take part in one of the following workshops:
- Mental Health Essentials (MHE)
- Resilient Education for Action in Crisis and Health (REACH)
- Finance, Logistics & Administration Workshop (FAL)
- SMART
- United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs)
Participants will be asked to select a first, second, and third workshop choice.
Applications will be reviewed starting from the first choice; if not selected, they will be considered for the second, and then the third choice, to ensure fair evaluation and increase acceptance opportunities.
Previous experience is not required. This space is open for members who are taking their first steps as well as those continuing their IFMSA journey.
Second Call for Trainers and Facilitators
We are also opening a second call for trainers and facilitators who are interested in facilitating one of the listed workshops.
Trainers and facilitators play a central role in shaping the learning experience at PreEMR22. We welcome trainers and facilitators who are committed, responsible, and motivated to create a safe and enriching learning space for participants. Specific expectations and requirements for trainers and facilitators are detailed in the trainers’ application form.
Application Process
- Participants and trainers must apply through separate application forms:
- Each form is tailored to the role and contains detailed instructions
- Accepted applicants will be contacted via email for confirmation and registration, including full information submission.
- Application Deadline: 10/02/2026 - 23:59 GMT
Fees
- The participation fee is 175 USD for both participants and trainers including accommodation for the duration of the preEMR22.
- Payment details will be shared after acceptance through your NMO P.
- Please inform your NMO P of your application as they will be contacted to confirm.
