1. Background: As has been the tradition for the past years, IFMSA publishes its official magazine - Medical Students International (MSI). We are now beginning the production and distribution process of the upcoming edition: Edition 45 (MSI45) and we need you!
2. Calls :
1. Call for two-four (2-4) Content Editors
2. Call for two-four (2-4) Content Designers
3. Call for one-three (1-3) Audiovisual Editors
3. Call for one (1) Website Editors
3. What you need to do:
1. Read the full content of the call
2. Submit the necessary documents through this form with the following requirements:
i. Content Editors Call :
1. Motivation Letter: max. 1 page
2. CV: highlighting relevant experience
3. Proof of Proficiency: C2, IELTS, TOEFL, or any other acceptable proof of competence.

ii. Content Designers Call :
1. Motivation Letter: max. 1 page
2. CV: highlighting relevant experience
3. Proof of Proficiency: Portfolio or past work using the InDesign or any DTP program to create publications.

We hope this email finds you well,
As it has been a tradition for the past years, IFMSA publishes its official magazine - Medical Students International (MSI). The creation process of this magazine takes a lot of preparations that can be divided into 4 streams: Content Editing, Content Designing, Audiovisual Editing and Website Editing.
And this is why we are extremely excited today to open the call for the team that will be the engine of this process and make our next edition - MSI 45 - come to life! Therefore, we kindly invite you to carefully read this call.
Available positions:
(2-4) Content Editors:
Content Editors are people who will be responsible for reviewing articles that have been approved for publication to ensure that they meet the high standards we expect from an IFMSA publication. They will mostly be analysing the articles’ semantics, ranging from its grammar, punctuation, spelling, all the way to ensuring the consistency of its quality.
(2-4) Content Designers:
Content Designers are people who will be responsible for designing the layout of the MSI. With the InDesign program, you will be in charge of designing the proofread articles and compiling it to the final document that we will send to print and publish online.
(1-3) Audiovisual Editors:
Audiovisual Editors are people who will be responsible for handling videos, podcasts, and multimedia integration for the MSI. They will be editing audiovisual materials to ensure clarity, coherence, and alignment with IFMSA’s communication and visual standards. Their tasks range from refining audio quality and assembling video content to adding subtitles or basic graphic elements when needed. They will also support the integration of multimedia components into the final publication and digital platforms, ensuring consistency and a smooth user experience.
(1) Website Content Editors:
Website Content Editors are people who will be responsible for designing the layout of the MSI 45 on the IFMSA website. With the WordPress & HTML5 programs knowledge, you will be in charge of online publication and edits on the IFMSA.org website. We will be calling for 1-2 website content editors at this moment.

Content Editors:
Motivation letter: must be no longer than one page.
Curriculum Vitae: must highlight relevant experiences related to content editing.
Proof of Proficiency: C2, IELTS, TOEFL, or any other acceptable proof of competence. All members are encouraged to apply, however, priority will be given to those who are able to provide proof of excellent linguistic proficiency, either in the form of a C2, IELTS (above 8.0), TOEFL certification (above 100, in iBT or above 600 in PBT), or any other form of linguistic evaluation results/proof that shows your competence in the language.

Content Designers:
Motivation letter: must be no longer than one page.
Curriculum Vitae: must highlight relevant experiences related to content designing.
Portfolio or past work using the InDesign or any DTP program to create publications.
NB : Format of documents in pdf (Adobe Indesign work in .indd format is also possible)
Audiovisual Editors:
Motivation letter: must be no longer than one page.
Curriculum Vitae: must highlight relevant experiences related to content designing.
