Dear NMOs,

With great enthusiasm, we are opening the call for observers for the 4th Team of Officials Meeting (TOM4) of the term 2025-2026. This meeting will be held online, from the 1st to 3rd of May 2026 from 12:00 to 16:00 GMT.

Background:

The Team of Officials Meeting is an essential gathering where IFMSA officials convene to manage and assess IFMSA’s activities throughout the year. TOM4 focuses on reviewing progress made since the start of the term and since the previous General Assembly, preparing for concluding many of the terms initiatives with focus on August Meeting submissions preparations and supporting collaborations among Officials.

Observer Participation:

The choice to permit observers at any TOM is determined by the Team of Officials, and we have chosen to invite observers for TOM4. Our objective in having observers is to:  

1. Facilitate engagement of general members in the discussions held by the TO.  

2. Promote transparency within our Federation by involving general members in the current circumstances within IFMSA and the advancements we are making.  

3. We aspire to gather a varied group of observers from different roles in IFMSA so that we can gain insights from them and collaborate on enhancing various aspects of IFMSA.

Application Process:

1. Fill out the candidature form (here), which must be signed and stamped by your NMO President.

2. Complete the application form (here). Then, upload your signed and stamped candidature form as part of your application.

Deadline: Applications must be submitted by the 20th of April 2026 at 23:59 GMT.

Selection Criteria:

• Motivation for attending the meeting

• Contribution potential during the meeting

• Follow-up plan for implementing the meeting’s outcomes

• Previous experience in IFMSA

Note: Please note that observers might be asked to leave the meeting during specific sessions with prior communication. Before the start of the TOM a designated contact person from the Executive Board will facilitate an introductory meeting and provide relevant information to observers.
