| Dear IFMSA Family, We hope this email finds you well! It is with great pleasure that we open the call for the International Meetings Representation Fund (IMRF) Delegation of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations to the International Migration Review Forum (IMRF). The International Migration Review Forum is the primary global platform under the United Nations to review progress on the implementation of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration. It brings together governments, UN entities, civil society, youth, and other stakeholders to advance rights-based, evidence-informed, and people-centred migration policies. The Forum is held once every four years, making it a particularly important moment to influence global migration governance, accountability, and policy direction. Through this IMRF delegation, IFMSA aims to ensure that the perspectives of medical students and youth advocates are meaningfully represented in global discussions at the intersection of migration, health, equity, and human rights |

| Delegation Modalities & Application Timeline To promote inclusive and meaningful participation in global advocacy spaces, IFMSA is opening this IMRF delegation in both in-person and online modalities. This approach builds on the experience of the successful hybrid delegation implemented during the WHO EB Meeting, which enabled broader engagement while maintaining strong advocacy impact. Applicants may apply to one or both of the following modalities: In-Person IMRF DelegationSelected delegates will represent IFMSA on-site in New York and engage directly in advocacy, networking, and visibility activities during the Forum. Please note that the in-person IMRF delegation call is a short call, open until 26th of January, 13:00 GMT We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Due to the current circumstances, it was not possible to open the in-person call for the standard duration; however, we still wanted to ensure that IFMSA members are given the opportunity to apply for on-site participation. Online IMRF DelegationSelected delegates will support IFMSA’s participation remotely through online advocacy, policy work, communications, session monitoring, and structured follow-up activities. The online modality is intended to increase accessibility and inclusivity, allowing members who may not be able to attend in person to meaningfully engage in this important global policy space. Furtermore, online call is open with the standard timeline, by 10th of March, 23:59 GMT In case you experience any issues related to the Candidature Form (CF), including signatures, stamps, or proof of attendance, please do not hesitate to reach out so we can support you within the application timeline. |
