IFMSA-UAE, in collaboration with the Simulation Club at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), Dubai Health, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is excited to announce the opening of applications for the 3rd Simulation Acute Medicine Summer School 2026!

Taking place from July 13th - 17th, 2026, this immersive week-long summer school will bring together medical students from different backgrounds and countries for a unique experience centered around acute care, teamwork, and simulation-based learning in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 

Hosted at the Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Medical Simulation Center, one of the UAE’s leading accredited simulation centers located in MBRU, participants will train through immersive hands-on simulation scenarios designed to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world clinical practice. Throughout the week, students will gain hands-on exposure to Emergency Medicine and Anaesthesia, including airway management, intubation, trauma assessment, CPR, patient stabilization, emergency response, communication, leadership, teamwork, and acute care decision-making within realistic clinical environments.

The summer school also offers opportunities for networking, collaboration, and cultural exchange through an organized social program that allows participants to explore Dubai and connect with fellow medical students in an engaging international environment.

The participation fee is 2,000 Dirhams (545 US Dollars) (excluding visa and flights), covering:
1. Accommodation at Novotel Bur Dubai, located in close proximity to the simulation centre
2. Academic program activities and sessions
3. ⁠Social program excursions and games

First Call Application Deadline: June 7th, 2026
Please note that spots are limited and applications will be reviewed by IFMSA-UAE. Selected applicants will receive further details following acceptance. Travel and visa arrangements remain the responsibility of the participant.
