Dear IFMSA Family,

Have you ever wondered how to transform your local SCOME project or innovative medical education research into a presentation at a major international conference?

The gateway to amplifying your voice on the global stage is a strong, high-quality abstract, and we are here to help you write one.

We are excited to open the call for participants for our first-ever online training:

“Writing High-Quality Abstracts for Medical Education Conferences,” scheduled for March 28-29, 2026.

Why should you apply?
Whether you aim to influence policy, present an educational innovation, or showcase your research on the international stage, mastering the art of communicating your work is crucial.

Join our interactive workshop to turn your idea into a submission-ready abstract. Get insider tips from seasoned reviewers on what makes an abstract truly stand out, and receive live guidance as you craft your own. You’ll also gain invaluable insights from successful IFMSA alumni who have presented at leading medical education conferences, learn from their experiences and avoid common pitfalls.

Spaces are limited, apply and take your research to the next level!

Training Details:

  • Dates: March 28th-29th, 2026 (Online via Zoom)

  • Level: Open to all IFMSA members. While prior experience in abstract writing is not required, participants should have basic familiarity with medical education research and academic conferences.

  • The workshop will be delivered by experienced IFMSA Alumni, with the support of the LME and SCOME EAA.

For more information on the training, including its structure, goals, and objectives, please review the online training proposal [LINK].
