Dear youth advocates,
As part of World Immunization Week 2026 with the theme “For every generation, vaccines work,” we invite you to join an interactive session for young people:
Across communities, schools and online spaces, the youth play a key role in shaping trust and confidence in vaccines. The session will be hosted by the WHO Youth Council and the WHO Department of Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals. Together with you in this session, we will:
Share ideas on how to be vaccine advocates in your networks
Explore how the youth can be meaningfully engaged in building vaccine confidence and trust
Co-create by helping shape WHO’s upcoming Vaccine Literacy Toolkit
Help plan for stronger youth engagement of WHO on immunization
Expect interactive presentations, breakout discussions and peer exchange.
We also invite you to be part of World Immunization Week by using the campaign materials, including social media assets and videos you can share in your networks. Explore the WHO Vaccination Information Hub for supporting resources such as Q&As, explainers and training tools for health workers and community representatives. We look forward to learning from your experiences, insights and ideas!
Warm regards, on behalf of the IFMSA Youth Council,
Anna and Sie Meng
