Dear Advocacy Enthusiasts Around the World,

As UHC Day approaches, IFMSA - in collaboration with the WHO and CSEM UHC2030 - is joining the global UHC Day 2025 Campaign. The campaign features a wide range of activities and initiatives aimed at raising awareness on the importance of Universal Health Coverage leading up to December 12th.

There is so much to look forward to and many opportunities to engage - including this year’s UHC Youth Challenge!

This year, youth like YOU are invited to be at the forefront of driving change in your country. The challenge is your chance to raise your voice, design impactful campaigns, and help build health systems that leave no one behind.

This year’s UHC Day campaign slogan:
“Unaffordable health costs? We’re sick of it!”

To join the Youth Challenge, visit the campaign website and create an account. You will then be able to log your UHC-related advocacy actions for a chance to win one of three prize packs and be recognised for your work.

Important Deadlines:

The UHC Game is open until the 11th of December, 23:59 GMT. Completing any of the steps by this deadline enters you into the raffle for the prize packs, and the more steps you complete, the higher your chances of winning.
To be featured as a UHC Youth Champion on UHC Day, you must complete the whole game by the 5th of December.

Submissions and Eligibility:

You do not need to launch a brand-new initiative this week. You can also submit activities you have already been working on or that took place earlier in the past period. Submissions can be made:

Individually,
On behalf of your NMO,
or as a Team.

For team submissions, please ensure you designate a representative to submit and track the activity.
