We extend a warm invitation to join us at the prestigious Orthopaedic Winter School in Stolzalpe, Styria, Austria, organized by the Orthopaedic Department of LKH Murtal, a teaching hospital affiliated with the medical universities
in Vienna and Graz. Nestled in the heart of Styria, the Stolzalpe Hospital boasts one of Austria's largest orthopaedic departments, renowned for its expertise in hip and knee surgery as well as paediatric orthopaedics.
This distinguished course, now in its successful 12th year, offers an exclusive opportunity for 16 participants, 8 from Austria and
8 international students. The entire program will be conducted in English, fostering a global learning environment.

Course Content:
Our one-week immersive program encompasses interactive lectures and hands-on workshops. Renowned teams will present lectures covering pivotal topics in orthopaedics, including conservative orthopaedics, radiology, physical
medicine, and hip-sonography for newborns. Hands-on workshops include knee arthroscopy on a model, plating, nailing, sewing, and casting. Bedside teaching will involve clinical examinations of different joints, patient presentations, visits to the outpatient
department, and observation in the operating room.
The course will also feature a recreational program, including outdoor activities and a round table restaurant visit (not included in the course fare).
Requirements:
• Language: Proficiency in advanced English (B2 level) - no certificate required.
• Eligibility: Registered as a Medical Student.
• Knowledge: Basic anatomical knowledge.
• Academic Background: Successful completion of orthopaedics at medical school.
• Visa: Necessary arrangements should be made.
