Dearest SCORPions,
We are pleased to open the call for applications for the Bridging Languages for Human Rights: The SCORP Translation SWG. This working group will support one of SCORP’s core goals—making our resources accessible to all members, regardless of language. By translating key SCORP documents and OLM minutes, the SWG will help ensure that every member can engage fully, understand our work clearly and participate with confidence.
Why this SWG matters
Most SCORP materials are currently available only in English, which limits participation for many non-English-speaking members. This SWG aims to close that gap by providing accurate translations in French, Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese. The work will directly strengthen inclusivity, accessibility and meaningful involvement across the Federation. You can refer to the SWG proposal for additional details.
Who can apply
We welcome active SCORP members with strong written proficiency in English and at least one of the target languages (French, Spanish, Arabic or Portuguese). Prior experience in translation document review is helpful but not required. Members who value accuracy, confidentiality and teamwork are encouraged to apply.
Application Deadline: 1st December,2025
Application Form: Here
This SWG is a chance to contribute to a more inclusive SCORP where language is never a barrier. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
