How to plot clade names in bammdata figures?

I've seen in figures of a few papers bamm data is plotted with branches coloured by rates, and clade names alongside (e.g. https://ars.els-cdn.com/content/image/1-s2.0-S0960982214002759-gr3.jpg). Using ggtree, I cannot seem to plot a bammdata with the ggtree function. How can I plot clade names alongside a bammdata figure?
