audio preservation question

Hi,

I had a faculty member come in today with some transcription discs that he wants to have digitized. They contain interviews from the 1940s and, as far as he knows, these are the only copies extant. Wellesley does not have the on-site equipment or resources to do this, so I am looking into getting it done professionally. So far, I have found Mass Productions and Creative Audio Works LLC. Has anyone worked with either or both of these companies and can comment on the experience or give a recommendation for or against either of them?
