a salute to a Dean

What do I mean by Dean? Well, in my many years in the 

Boston area there have been (and remain) librarians who in my 

mind I think of as "The Deans," and I mean Deans of the best, 

admired, and collegial sort.

Coming from the Dean of the Deans, I heartedly thank you for all the great conversations and meetings we have had over the years, and I wish you a fabulous back to school year.
