The Structural Bamboo Group in the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture and History of Art at the University of Cambridge has two openings, a Post-Doctoral Research Associate and a 50% FTE Research Assistant in the area of Structural Bamboo Products (SBP).

The Research Associate will extend and develop international bamboo codes, prepare structural tests of associated bamboo and timber beams and will oversee the structural testing and analysis of data, and write new sections of bamboo building code.

Research Assistant (50% FTE) (http://www.jobs.cam.ac.uk/job/-22032/):
The research assistant will develop the energy analysis of specific bamboo materials and assemblies, and will conduct research into existing data on energy content and performance of engineered bamboo.
