Dear All
I would like to share with you all couple of pictures of Training Center we recently completed in bamboo at Habitat Commune, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.
The structure is a Ground plus One Floor. Ground Floor will be used as class room during training sessions. The upper Floor will be used as an office space. Both the floors are constructed using Bamboo with Nut & Bolt joints. The Upper floor slab of 4.5mts x 4.5mts was test with a load of 6000kgs.
The building is constructed using Stone & Concrete Foundation, Bamboo Columns, Bamboo Beams, MDF boards with Coir carpet for Slab, Wattle & Daub walls and Thatch Roof.
