Bamboo trip to Colombia

Dear Group,

please allow me to introduce Prof. Chang Wen-Shao. He is a Lecturer in
structural engineering at Bath University. He has been working on
bamboo-based research, especially in relation to new structural bamboo
products. In his last e-mail, he was refering to a trip recently made
by British University Academics to Colombia to learn more about bamboo
and its role in construction. It will be great to find out more about
these experiences and I hope the group will be able to provide a
useful forum for linking together academics and practitioners across
the world.
